The trees from which these seeds were harvested, are only 12′ to 15′ tall and have grown here on my property for 20+ years. They do not get pruned, sprayed or messed with by human hands. The birds do love them, which is why I regularly have to remove seedlings from my gardens. The cherries are a bit smaller than commercial cultivars, but sweet and profuse. Prunus Avium…. gorgeous reddish brown horizontally striated, smooth bark. Used for fine hardwood in furniture making. These can grow multi-trunked, but easily trained to grow single trunked.
